DVD Ripper Ripper does not show "Closed Caption"s

I have several movies that when played in VLC, I can turn on the subtitle "Closed Caption 1" to get the english subtitles. When trying to rip these in DVDFab 9.2.1.0, the list of Subtitles does not show these tracks as options.

Latest version, 9.2.3.7 still doesn't show the other subtitle tracks. Is there any way to get them to show up? The player in dvdfab doesn't show them as available either but VLC can display them without issue.

Are you selecting "remux into file" on the advanced settings page? Not all file formats support this. Also, not all discs have closed captions, which are different from subtitles. List some of the titles that are not working correctly.

Yes, "remux into file" is currently selected. Never really found many pro/cons to different settings (remux or extract).
Trying to rip the file to mp4 format. There are serveral disks, have to go pull them out, was currently trying to redo alien vs predator which shows "closed caption 1" thru "closed caption 4" when viewing under vlc player but doesn't show any in the subtitle drop down in dvdfab.

I wish I could adjust the subtitles to my liking I think they look horrible and if you look close enough at the pics you can see they are cut off a tiny bit on the bottom.

Yeah, a few pixels are shaved off. Try turning off auto cropping. I will try it too when I find mine. Bought it when Blockbuster closed up shop, so it is buried.

I turned auto cropping off and the subs look good in DVDFab Media Player but won't play at all in PowerDVD 15. So the issue could be in the player.

Ok, maybe it is just my copy then. Attached pics show that vlc can see them but dvdfab doesnt.

I have been going through and looking up other movies I had similar problems with. There are a few more but here is what I have found so far:

                          Tank Girl
                          Generation UM
                          Double Impact
Hunt for Red October - doesn't show both forced and regular, will show in dvdfab player though
                          Delta Force 1
                          Spies Like Us

I've been messing around with this too and vlc will see the closed captions which are a different thing than subtitles. One of the CC's is English and the others are different languages even when I selected English only subtitles. And you're right DVDFab or the Media Player does not detect the closed captions. Subtitles are a separate track.

Any thoughts on how to fix this? The list of movies in this situation keeps increasing. Was ripping Stargate SG1 and at least season 6 and season 7 are this way. Wondering if there is a way around it.
