DVD Ripper Cars 2 copy and ripping issue

I have tried multiple times copying and also just ripping Cars 2 and it will not work. IT reads the DVD for 30 or better minutes then just ejects it in Copy. In ripper it works for like 1 minute and then says it is complete. It creates a folder for the MP4 but it is always empty. I am attaching the log. Please someone help. I have seen this issue many times on the forum but there is no resolution posted about the issue. I have tried 2 different DVD only disk with the same outcome.

This is an old thread but I have the same problem. Cars 2 (standard bluray) plays just fine on xbox-one but cannot get past the "opening" on two different systems. LG & Asus, gtx 1070 and 1060 respectively. Seems to be a new disk I just got, looks perfect with no blemishes, but I washed it anyway and still same problem. One system crashed with error message dialog box to report error, the other requested to ignore all or abort. Never gets out of the "opening" phase if I request "ignore all".

This is a read error, please attach the DVDFab internal log session, instructions for this are linked in my sig, below. I think I have the original release disc and will try it also.

System with LG recorder does not get past "got bdmv" and requests permission to send a dump report which I did. System with ASUS recorder gets past "got bdmv" and reports a read error. Otherwise the internal logs for "cars2" are the same for both system. Just tried that 4.1 beta, same problem. Last entry was
        0m 35.26s: full disc copy/play is supported
        0m 35.54s: got bdmv

then error dump message showed up. Other system with ASUS usb3 recorder shows

        1m 31.69s: read error: 11 8340672 8395127 8340735 941
        1m 31.70s: OnDVDInfoNotify: error type 1
        3m 24.46s: read error: 11 2479904 2541679 2480222 968
        3m 24.46s: OnDVDInfoNotify: error type 1
        10m 11.26s: user cancelled

        after that same "got bdmv"

Held it up to the light to look for a tiny laser burn hole but didnt see anything suspicious. Must be some flaw in the media.

Try checking your computer's bluray drive's for the latest firmware update and also your computer's graphics card has the latest driver updates.

Downloaded version 9 and that seems to work. At least it got past the "opening" and I am currently saving BD50 image. Maybe this will work. This is the old CAR2 not the new one so maybe version 9 works better???
