Removal for Blu-ray Deep Water Horizon

I have tried to back up my original DVD disk of Deep Water Horizon twice and cinevia removal failed both times. I just purchased a lifetime license and this is my first attempt at backing up an original disk. No error messages are displayed when finishing the copy process. Then surprise, the backup is not playable. I am using the latest version 10.0.3.6 of DVDFab Is there a list of DVD that cinevia works on listed on the website anywhere? So far disappointed in the claims that DVDFab removes DVD Cinevia watermarks. May have to cancel subscription.

    Try the following...

    1. Start DVDFab.
    2. Select the 'Main Movie' mode (top left) instead of Clone/Burn
    3. Insert your Movie and let it scan it.
    4. Then where it shows the information about the movie (Title, Runtime, Chapter, Audio, etc.)
    5. Select the Audio (for me in the US, it says EN,EN).
A dropdown will appear showing you all the audio tracks the movie contains.
If it has the TrueHD Audi track, it should work.
If it only shows the AC3 audio tracks (i.e. AC-3/5.1 or AC-3/2), it won't work.

They tend to ONLY support removing the Cinavia from the movies that have the TrueHD audio and very few if any of the movies that only have the AC3 audio tracks.

DVDs do not support TrueHD. That is a Blu-ray feature. Removal of Cinavia from DVDs will be via the AC3 stream.

          Wilson,

Downloaded 10037 Beta, made new copy of original, it did not remove the cinavia audio protection.

Are you making main movie from the store brought disk in the drive?
If yes post the Fab internal log file for this try.

10037 worked for me. of course, it recognized the presence of cinavia, but it gave that cinavia symbol with the diagonal line when you select from the drop down menu on the audio button of the main movie. I think the en ac-3/5.1 was the affected audio track that was repaired. I watched the movie and it worked just fine. you should be ok
