    Software will not activate

Fedora 25 install of newer S/W version (Thank You!) No Joy. S/W will not activate, and crashes before main window is displayed. So going back to the beginning:

    0) New computer
    1) Fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (AMD64) on New Computer
    2) Installed all current updates
    3) Reboot. Linux is happy, running well. Benchmark, load testing, CPU all test good.
    4) Install DVD_Fab for Linux (10.0.4.0)
    5) Run software. Actually loads on Ubuntu!
    6) First Dialog, Activate S/W. I type in my verified credentials, Select Activate.
    7) License Table shows Update Expire time as "Never Been Used" and Status as "Trial" In other words, IT DOES NOT ACTIVATE.
    7) Select "Start DVDFab", software actually loads! (in Trial mode, not using my credentials)
    8) Can start a task, and it will actually run the task most of the time, albeit very slowly..

When re-running the software the next time, the experience is a dead repeat starting at step 5 above. After multiple tries, software never Activates, remains in 'Trial' mode forever.

If you have a VPN client, try activating via VPN. I had the same problem installing v10.0.4.0 on Windows 7 Pro, it only works via VPN with my internet provider (i.e. problem may not be an OS issue).

Your username looks like a typo of the word "egghead", would you like me to fix your username or is it not a typo?

And how do you do that? The DVDFAB store sells Windows and Mac software only? Does the MAC software also work for Linux?
Check that: In the last day or two it seems the Linux option for some products has suddenly appeared.

Thank you Signals and October262 for your help!
At least the activation problem is now resolved. Now onto getting the software to actually work!
