Same message, and nearly identical log file.

Same happens for me, blu-ray copy or ripper. I get a pop-up "An unknown error has occurred. Please check if there is a new version on the DVDFab website." and then nothing. This is happening for Fences as well as The Girl on the Train.

    DVDfab 10.0.2.8
    Windows 10 Pro - v1607 build 14393.693
    GeForce GTX 1070 - v378.78 released 3/8/2017

Thanks in advance for any assistance. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, safe-mode, run as admin, etc..

      An Unknown Error has Occurred

Receiving the same message - even with discs I've previously used with DVDFab. The media player is also not working with most discs but an older blu-ray did play.

Basically, DVDFab's blu-ray server is totally down across the board, affecting DVD Fab 9, DVD Fab 10 and DVD Decryptor.

They need to sort that out so we can keep enjoying their lovely program. I also need it fixed so I can finish ripping the Friday the 13th movies in HD.

          Same Problem

Having same problem with Doctor Strange.

Glad to know it is server. Thought I had an issue specific to me.

Gotcha. Does anyone know if there a service status link / page that we can compulsively refresh?

Quick update: I've tested several of my blu-rays.

My Friday the 13th Parts 5 and 6 double feature read just fine, as did The Strangers, but S. Darko (...yeah) refuses to be read, as well as the US remastered version of Bram Stoker's Dracula and the UK Arrow Video version of The Burning.

Guess some discs read just fine, but others just don't. Most likely something to do with the server being down leading to region coding removal and specific copy protection removal not working.
