    Error = external_process process_file_not_exist

    Whenever I try ripping a DVD I get the following error:

    20:58:20 Work 1 failed, Error = external_process process_file_not_exist

    I'm able to copy entire discs to the drive though.

    Happens whether I rip form the disc directly or from a copy of the VOBs I make on the hard drive.

    So reading the DVD is fine, and writing to the disc is fine.

    Any ideas what might be causing the error when trying to rip?

      Make sure that you are running the latest version of dvdfab for mac -http://forum.dvdfab.cn/showthread.php?t=30770
      You may want to check your drives have the latest firmware update.
      Please post the dvdfab internal log files.

        I delved into the issue and figured it out.

        I use a caSe sEnsiTive file system.

        The external program / process being called is .app/.../MacOs/fabcore

        The file is actually named FabCore

        I renamed the file inside the .app and all is well (until the next time the software is updated, I suppose).

        Can I haves a cookie?

        Or at least an update to fix case sensitive filesystem issues?
