    No hardware decoding: why?

Intel Quick Sync, DXVA... every media player allows video decoding to be hardware accelerated.

Why again do we only have inefficient software decoding?

You don't! I use DXVA every day in the Fab media player. It may be graphics card related?
How to post the internal log

I do not need a moderator, what is needed is a technician.

The display adapter is, for example, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. When you select DXVA, DVDFab Media Player instantly craches as soon as you try to open anything.

And there is no Intel Quick Sync option, if you have a Intel GPU.

MPC-HC, for example, has everything. And does not crash. And plays everything smoothly.

I was responding as a fellow user sharing my experience, if you want technical support go to the official web site and request it. This is a user forum where we help each other.

Might also check for a driver update for your computer's graphics card.
Or try an older driver version.

Or just use MPC or VLC.

There is not even an option to select hardware acceleration for H.265.

Sorry for the late reply but you suspended my account.

ISOs with hardware accelerated video decoding now work.

                        You are a wizard, Wilson!
