    DVDFab 10.0.0.3.8 BDInfo tool

Thanks for the BDInfo tool, great addition !
As it is a free product, can we expect to have it as a standalone under "Free stuff" somewhere in the future perhaps ?

Also you mentiond on http://www.dvdfab.cn/bdinfo.htm page
that this tool also has the ability to provide us information:
About Cinavia protection, Atmos, DTS:X and HDR, etc...

I scanned a few BD untouched rips, amongs them was the cinavia protected "The Last witch hunter (2015)" but i did not see any cinavia alert or information

(I scanned a few BD untouched rips) quote-

I believe you need to do the scan from the store brought disk if it see's cinava not a clone or full disk.A protected clone may work.
It will work from iso on blu ray disk for the rest of the info..

      Here's a link for the program https://www.videohelp.com/software/BDInfo
It was always a separate free helper program it doesn't say it finds Cinavia so let us know if it doe's.

I see, but having a physical BD disc or a 1:1 rip on your hard drive should actually not matter in my opion. Making 1:1 rip on your hard drive using software tool will not remove cinavia only the copy protection.

But it's still not clear how cinavia will show the warning if the source is affected by this or not ?

@ fengtao, are you able to provide a screen on how it looks if cinavia is detected ?

On the page : http://www.dvdfab.cn/bdinfo.htm I can't find this information.
        Thank you for the support.

There's 2 sample files that you can download on Fab info. on bdinfo. here http://download.dvdfab.cn/temp/Sample-BDInfo-Report.zip
In the first sample Nerve in the report is Protection: AACS(v62), Cinavia
So it seems to be able to do it but maybe only from the store brought disk as I tried it with copy's on disks and they don't report the cinavia.

The second sample file is 4K smurfs 2:
What I don't understand about this is why would you use it on a 4k disk when most blu ray drives can't read 4k disks and why you would need such info. if Fab doesn't copy these disks????

John wick:Fab can take the cinavia out of a store brought disk not a copy on hard drive unless it's a protected disk that has the copy protection so it may make a difference also with bdinfo. we wait for staff to answer this question.
