Assassins Creed BD | NO SUBTITLES

"Assassins Creed" BD has lots of subtitles but they don't show in my copy. ??
In PassKey settings I have 'subtitles' enabled under 'DVD Settings'.
There is no 'subtitle' setting under 'Blu-ray'

I choose "Rip to Hard Disk" with PassKey.
Then I use BDRebuilder to shrink the resulting file.
Then Handbrake to encode to MP4.

Other movies seem to work fine. Just copied "The Great Wall" and subtitles appeared fine. Seems to be only a problem with "Assassins Creed".

    Any suggestions?

I tried it twice with two different versions of PassKey.
    Here's the logs:

("Assassins Creed" BD has lots of subtitles but they don't show in my copy. ??)

After you copy the disk to hard drive with passkey Play it with the free version of Fab media player then see if the sub titles are their they should be.If yes then it's your using a non Fab program that's not putting the subs in the mp4 that I can't help you with but I can tell you how to do it with Fab ripper.

For this movie the forced subs are the second set of English sub titles. In Fab ripper you would pick the second set of English subs and uncheck forced then direct render to video so you see whats shown in theaters.

That's was a great suggestion. I just tried installing Fab Media Player but it said that playing from ripped video folders [or something to that effect] is a Pro version feature and that my 30 day trial had already expired.
I must have already tried the trial version at some earlier time.

BUT I managed to open the main .m2ts file in the BMDV/Stream folder with VLC and the sub-titles do NOT show. So it DOES seem to be a problem with the PassKey rip. ?

Fab media player should be able to play a iso or folder on the hard drive with the free version (it can't read from disks)In settings for video select simple mode not menu mode then try it again.

Don't open the stream file to get the subs to play, load ISO into Fab virtual drive then you can open the sub title folder and see them in VLC player. In Fab media player the ISO will play without using virtual drive.I made 2 screenshots from 2 different movies with passkey.
Passkey will even will copy closed captions and the regular subs with VLC player with Fabs media player showing all regular subs included. So I would say if you get the same results using passkey then it's not a Fab problem but your other programs you are using.

OK, I also made an ISO so I could try both. I got DVDFab player to work and the subtitles DO show using both the ISO and when selecting the BDMV folder.

Hmmmm... at least I know PassKey is working correctly.

I don't see how the other programs are causing this.
BDRebuilder simply shrinks the source file down to a manageable size.
And Handbrake simply encodes the file into a different format.

Guess I'll have to post in the BDRebuilder and Handbrake forum.

Or you can get the Fab ripper with the coupon on Fabs front page and get it done correctly for this movie. Also it has a 30 day trial I think you will like it.Can also be used with speed up programs like Cuda to really speed things up.

I agree, you can use DVDFab Blu-ray Copy to backup your discs and Blu-ray Ripper to convert your discs to the other format (MP4, MKV...).
