    Performance Audio in AVI files

    Dear Forum,
I am ripping my dvd and bluray library to my NAS hard drive to AVI file format. When I replay the AVI file using DVDFAB media player the audio is out of sync by many seconds. Is there something I am doing wrong in ripping process or in the replay?

I have been ripping my library as I purchase over a number of years using the current DVDFAB of the time. I am currently using 10.0.2.2.

    Happy for any assistance.

I've run into that in the past using the AAC audio so I switched to AC3 and haven't seen the A/V sync issue in a long time. I tried a couple since your post and can't reproduce the problem with AC3 audio.

The DVDFAB output to file is an .avi file an .idx file and a .sub file.
I am using the AVI option in the ripper and it defaults to the AC3 audio.

Previously I have not had any problems with audio sync shifting. I dont know what is happening.

I have changed ripping format to MP4-4K and the same sync happens.
