BD to DVD Oversize error in BD to DVD

I have tried 2 different movies and both have oversize error. I saved it to disk but the output file is too big to burn to dvd. This movie 'Love the Coopers' is one of the movies that has a problem on this machine using Cuda.

    Image size 2,309,584 Sectors
    Disk Size 2,297,888 Sectors.

Another computer using Intel Quick Sync also resulted in an oversize error with about the same results.

Looks like you've selected DVD-5 size to 4488 and that is too big, set it to 4482 or less. I use customize and set to 4472 to allow a little over run. When you set the DVD size you set the compression target.

DVD size is set to 4472 from the start. I changed that a long time ago from 4482 which is too big for the disk. Please note attachment.

Also, this is stated in the log: (which is too big).

49m 28.70s: total size of the output vob file:4488MB

You're going to have to go smaller for that disc then, it's not an exact science.

I went all the way down to 4300 and that worked. Seems the program makes it a little larger than the disk size, but at least it works. Thx for the info on making the disk size smaller.
