DVDFab wont rip blu-rays in any format, Help!!

Hi, my brother just bought his copy of DVDFab and it is always stuck at 0% when ripping any Bluray movie. He wants to rip in MKV Passthrough and has tried other file formats (i.e. MP4, AVI, etc...) to see if they work. But they don't. It loads the Bluray's and he is able to select what he wants to rip off them. No BD+ Protection or Cinevia Protection messages pop up either. Every time he selects to rip the movie it reads the M2TS file and simply just stays at 0% progress. He even left it for a couple hours and it stays like that.

Obviously he has a BD Drive on his computer if it reads the disc. He also tested out a regular DVD and it rips just fine. He has tested out different drives to rip to as well without success for BD Disc.

I tested these disc out on my computer and they rip fine. Does anyone know what the problem is?

First check his license and make sure the BD ripper is activated.

Yes, They all say "Activated"... All Green. He even uninstalled it and reinstalled it.

The in app video player plays the movies too. It just wont rip.

So we are talking version 9 then? I thought you meant upgraded to version 10. I don't even have version 9 loaded any more.

It does the exact same thing on Version 10.

Try clicking common settings - av codec and slect disable All gpu
codecs and switch everything to software. Retry the original store bought disc again.

                        Hi Aeramis
With the advice given you could also try updating your GPU drivers found here http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/113448
                        Hope this helps

So, apparently updating the drivers for the graphics card seems to have done the trick.

Thanks for all the help guys.
