DVD Ripper Program just hangs up

Purchased the DVD Ripper and when reading the DVD - it just hangs up on the reading at 13% ... it says: 13% Encoding Fps: 0.95 Total elapsed 00:13:18 Time Left: 00:00:00.
Any help with this? Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

    Thanks,
    geh

Thanks CBR929 ... I hope I'm doing this correctly? I'm using the dvdfab_internal file. This time it went to 3% on the read and then stopped.

        See attached:

Try clicking common settings - dvd - pathplayer - Slect disable pathplayer Restart dvdfab and try the disc again.

Thanks october262 ... tried it and it went a little bit further on the read - 20% and then hung up again.

            Attached the file again.

Do you have the disc copied to your hard drive or
Are you trying to convert from the source disc ??
Try copying the disc to your hard drive first then
              Do the converting.

Tried it and it reads 0% this time.

                Thanks again

For me, the trick was turning OFF CUDA acceleration when reading and encoding the disc. Go 100% software read/encode and see if it helps.

It was already set for the software read/encode to be on.

Is the disc clean & scratch free ??
Have you inspected the disc for defects.
Also check your dvd reader / writer for a firmware update.

Yes, the DVD(s) are very clean (almost new) and tried with my other DVDs too. My dvds drive(s) has the latest firmware on it.

                              Thanks Wilson,

The MKV Passthrough passed (when to got to 80% and then slowed down but passed eventually) but as for the disc info (Region Code, the buy link) where do I find that information at?? Maybe others can help me on this too??
