From Moderator Ripping 3D BDs with DVDFab/tsMuxeR for standalone players

    The problem:

When keeping true 3D (2 streams, AVC/MVC) rather than SBS while ripping, DVDFab leaves the original BD's huge number of m2ts files (inside the SSIF folder) which leads to stuttering on many standalones, probably due to buffering issues.

    The solution:

DVDFab should remux those files into several large m2ts (as requested here). Until it does, you can use the following workaround for tsMuxeR (based on The Don Mark's German tutorial).

    The workaround:
    • use DVDFab > Blu-ray Copy > Main Movie to identify the main movie's title number (needed for tsMuxeR)
    • switch to Full Disc > Copy as Blu-Ray 3D and select ISO as target (alternatively rip the BD with DVDFab Passkey)
    • mount ISO and use tsMuxeR to open BDMV > Playlist: <title number you identified in step one>.mlps
    • deselect unwanted tracks
    • set output to Blu-ray ISO and start muxing

The resulting ISO contains a few large m2ts and will not stutter on any standalone.
