    Question about quality

    Hi.

How is the quality for 2D converted to 3D on the fly by the TV (Samsung UE65HU8205T) compared to an original 3D blu ray movie or a movie converted from 2D to 3D by DVDfab?

Your asking a question that can have 2 answers as fab can make 2 kinds of 3d movies.

I also have a Samsung 3d tv so can answer this question and will answer for both types of 3d Fab can make.

If your talking about comparing the on the fly output from the Samsung to a 2d blu ray converted to 3d by Fab they are about the same keeping in mind their are no 3d pop off the screen effects in these two compared they have 3d's depth only. Also this type of 3d takes a long time for even a powerful I -7 computer to make as with 3d theirs no help from quick sync or Cuda at all.

Fab can make a side by side 3d movies from a 3d blu ray this type compares to the type of 3d on the disk and much faster to make with pop off the screen effects and depth but is less resolution than whats on the blu ray but still hi def.It cuts the vertical resolution in half or less if letter boxed but this gets unconverted in the tv so it looks very good if not compressed to much as you can compress these down to dvd 5 or dvd 9 disks.
The advantage is you can do this and play on a non 3d dvd player but the tv must be 3d.If you convert to a 2 layer dvd 9 they still look good dvd 5 can be done and alright for the kids or smaller tv's.You can keep the hd sound or convert it to non hd sound to save room. You can also put these on blu rays disks they are no longer blu rays but you can also make these uncompressed also.
