Peter Pan 2 Disk Platinum Edition

this is a old animated movie (disk has minor scratches, couple of pits) not bad
the disk plays fine on my computer but will no longer play in my sony dvd player

this is all the information off of the front of the disk
the total disk size is 4.99
    Disney Enhanced
    Disney L5687
    Stock# 52665
this is all the information off the back of the disk
315223 PPS-ON-NW1.1 and in little fonts next to it is 02
315222 PPS-ON-NW1.1 and in little fonts next to it is 03

    now to the details
I used the newest version of passkey 9.018
it ripped fine, plays fine with my media player (file size 4.99gb)
then I tried to burn the disk with v8085 and v9321
but both versions say the file size is 4.191
both versions kicks the disk out with a "failed" error message
I even tried to redu the file to another folder
    but I get the message
the file doesn't need to be compressed do you want to continue (I said yes)
2 seconds later it kicks the disk out and says it is completed (with nothing done)
I used 8085 to do a clone to an iso
    (the iso plays perfectly)
    (file size 4.99gb)
    but will not burn

I have attached 2 zipped files
of all the dvdfab and passkey log files

do you have any suggestions to how I can make the burned backup copy

this being an old movie I didn't think I would have any problems

1st - give the disc a good cleaning.
2nd - retry the disc with pathplayer disabled.

The file is too big for a single layer blank (DVD-5) compress it or use a dual layer blank.
How to post the internal log

dvdfab 8.085 says the vob/folder/files are only 4.191gb
dvdfab 8.085 says the iso file is 4.203gb
I tried compressing it but as I stated in my thread
it only took 2 seconds to do it... supposedly
        but there was nothing done
I know the original file/disk size is 4.99gb (to large for my disk size settings)
that is why I tried the 2 versions of Dvdfab, that I talked about in my thread
both the iso and the vob versions of the rip state 4.99gb

I'm retrying the iso file right now... it is actually running/ripping to hdd and not giving me that error message about not needing to compress the file

I will let you know if I'm able to burn the files to disk
now that the iso is compressing maybe I will try to burn the iso to disk also
just to see if I get any errors

thanks for your quick response back

If it compresses it likely will burn. Good luck with it.

the iso file at 4.99gb would not burn straight to a disc
dvdfab reads the iso at 4.203 windows reads it at 4.99gb
it allowed me to compress the 4.99gb iso file to a separate folder
which windows reads it at 4.10gb but dvdfab reads it at 4.203gb

it burnt to a disc with no problems and plays on my computer perfectly
now I just have to try it in a stand alone dvd player at the house

Thanks for all of your help
