There are some issues with driver compatibility for some of the older chipsets like the 550, your driver may be one of those. I have a 570 with the 348.9 driver that works great with DVDFab (full CUDA support), download it from nvidia and try it. Check here: http://www.geforce.com/drivers You should also read this post for a summary of hardware acceleration in DVDFab: http://forum.dvdfab.cn/showpost.php?...36&postcount=1

I tried several different Nvidia drivers including 348.9 and none were able to restore Cuda. I reinstalled 10.0.1.8 Beta and my Cuda options were available.

The support for the older chipsets or drivers under Win 10 was dropped or broken in DVDFab beginning around v10.0.1.9 or ...2.0, I do not know if this was due to a change from Microsoft, Nvidia or internal conflicts in DVDFab. Still works fine for earlier Windows versions. I am checking to see if there may be updates for this in the future.

The problem is with WIn10, a M$ update may correct it; if not, the DVDFab devs will look at it. There have been problems like this off and on since the earliest releases of Win10.

I have good CUDA support with GTX980 and 378.49 Windows 10 Pro.
How to post the internal log

?? This is what I was told. It may vary with the precise version or update level on a particular platform. It is working flawlessly for me on Win7. Problem is with older nvidia chipsets I think. 980 may be OK.

The OP reported on a 980ti that's what prompted me to check on my 980. I guess they are more different than I thought?

Why don't you enable PhysX acceleration on the card. May not help but sure won't hurt anything.

                            Hello guys,

so if I understand it in the right way there's no workaround if I haave an 980ti? ...should I go back to a specific version of Nvidia driver AND DVDfab version?

Thank you ahead of time for reply!
