Clone is a bit for bit copy so the blank media has to be the same as the original. A commercially released DVD typically won't clone to single layer (4.7GB) media.
How to post the internal log

I'm using dual-layer Verbatim dvd to clone burn.

I thought it might have something to do with cloning an iso image so I tried one and it seemed to work and play fine burning with ImgBurn. I made the iso with Fab a while back so if you are using something else or downloading them all bets are off.

DVD fab burns the Movie. But when I go to the menu it locks up. I have tried several times and always get the same result. Will try imgburn like you suggest and see if it resolves that issue.
