Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appro

When I put in a disk and it goes to read it I get this error with 9.0.2.7 and 9.0.2.8 “Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.” Also once I close out the pop up message it loads. Now I can revert back to 9.0.2.6 and it works fine any ideas as to what’s wrong.

Was just about to ask the same question. I hope this will be addressed in next update because it's very convenient being able to have DVDFab open up automatically when a DVD is inserted.

The error is no big deal, just click ok and carry on.

            Getting same error message 03.17.13

I upgraded to 9.0.3.0 and now get the "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.” If I am trying to burn a copy of a DVD I have saved, it will copy just fine, but as soon as it tries to burn a message pops up immediately saying the burn has failed. And when I click "yes" to try again the message "detecting dvd media" will come up and stay on until I click "cancel." I can use my DVD drive when DVDFab is not on just fine. But I am unable to copy a movie.

I have never had any problems with DVDFab until now and this has completed frustrated me. Any help will be grately appreciated.
