    ISO file to MP4/AVI/MKV ??

Hi. I have about a dozen ISO files from dvd rips from awhile back. They are sitting on one of my harddrives. I am looking for a way to convert them to a video file to play on my PS3.

Is there a configuration that allows DVDfab to read ISO files?

Hi majorwest and welcome, bring Artie next time.
DVDFab DVD to Mobile is the place to convert image files to MPEG-4. Choose the type of conversion you want in the left-hand navigation pane, then click on the open ISO button (the icon on the far right on the Source line). DVDFab will open the image file as if it were a disc in your optical drive and you can make the conversion.

Thanks Admin! I don't know who Artie is...but I often hear the robot declaring "danger danger Will Robinson!" Lol!

Ok, I was using the "file to mobile" option since the ISO files are physically located on my harddrive instead of on a disc. I noticed, however, that the resolution output will be different than the original file. In one case, I am selecting PS3 as the output. When I click the edit button next to the Profile dropdown menu, I am given the default frame resolution of 704x294 while the original video is 720 x 480 widescreen. The menu allows me to select a different resolution, but none of the available resoltions come close to 720x480. I am looking for a straight conversion at highest quality possible. Is there an option to increase the resolution to the size of the original video file?

        If the original video is 720 x 480 widescreen, 704 x 298 sounds about right except for the 704 instead of 720. Widescreen 1:2.40 = 720 x 300 !!!

Please try this with generic.avi.xvid.audiocopy profile and let us know the results.

Sorry to bump an older post. This seemed to be the closest topic to what I was going to ask.
I too have many ISO files from over the years and wanted to "batch" convert all of my ISOs (MP4 for my PS3). Is there a way of setting up DVDFab to do this. I don't mind setting up the computer to run over night.
          Thank you,
          ElSid

            Hi elsid
Please start a new thread next time. DVD to Mobile is a batch process. You can load the queue with a night's worth and let it run. When you have the first one all set up (using the Edit button) just click on the Source ISO icon to load the next and set it up as you did the first. Repeat this until you have enough. You can click on the Open Queue button anytime to see a summary of what you have so far. Click Start when you have enough loaded to keep it busy.
