I apologize if this information is somewhere else on this forum under a different title but I couldn't find anything. This is a very valuable list to anyone who copies and burns blu-ray movies and a moderator would do well to sticky this for future reference as many members can add to the thread to keep everyone current. We all know you can easily compress movies to fit on a 25GB BD-R but why wait 2 to 5 or more hours for this to finish when you can quickly copy the movie to your hard drive and burn it within an hour? ;) I have chosen titles that are able to fit on a 25GB BD-R (under 23.3GB) which includes the Movie Only with an English HD audio track. I don't feel the need to remove HD audio because that is just as equally pleasing as crisp, clear 1080p video. You audiophiles know exactly what I'm talking about as you didn't buy that HD audio compatible receiver for nothing! 10,000 B.C. Yeah this could be helpful for some people. So you chose just the english hd audio track and all english subtitles for each one? And if you have the info available, you should put which ones are full disk and which ones are main movie.

I believe ALL of them are Movie Only and one English HD audio codec selected. I've updated the original post to reflect this.

Add "The Disappearance of Alice Creed" to your list. The entire Blu Ray version is less than 19GB so full disk can be used intead of main movie. If "main movie" is used, DVDFab-8 defaults the audio to AC-3/2 which include the directors comments. The AC-3 True HD/5 must be selected to obtain just the theatrical audio. There is no way to observe this in the preview and it was only after I constructed the ISO and played it that I found the wrong audio had been selected. When I looked into this I found I could have just just used the Full Disk copy instead.

Add Toy Story 3 & Ice Age Add Superman (extended version), Mummy 3 (remove HD audio) Just saw the third mummy in your post at 21gb. I had to remove hd audio to get it at 21gb. Add Men in Black Add Night at the Museum:Battle of the Smithsonian, Region 1, Movie only, HD audio, English subtitles Add Megamind Add Tron, remove HD audio and ending credits. Also add Open Season 3. Add Toy Story 1&2, HD audio, English subtitle, Region 1 Add Paul, RIO(remove HD audio) and Rango Add Priest

You are not really removing the audio. You are down mixing (correct term ?) to a different type that will have alot less mb, gb's in alot of cases, so you will have more room to fit the movie. One example is dolby 5.1 which is a heck of alot less than HD audio and sounds good too.

I didn't know I could down mix it.
I thought it was like a "take it or leave it" thing
If it doesn't bother you, could you please show me how?
Is that the "REMOVE HD AUDIO" option?
I did that once and it completely removed the HD track, and so made the backup silent.

This is for movie only. Make sure you have your HD audio checked. Uncheck all other audios. As it scans, check remove HD audio. This is the last post on this thread as we are way off topic.
