Won't open

Just downloaded the newest preview and it will not open at all. Just sits in my dock jumping up and down but will not open. I uninstalled it off my Mac and tried again but still will not open. Uninstalled went back to the previous preview version and it works great. But the new one does not work....

Preview 2

I also have a problem. I installed preview 2 (Oct 29). I was able to full disc copy a BR. Then, when I tried to use "write data" it hung for a few minutes while I had selected the folder that contained the rip. I then had to force quit the app. When I restarted it, it was bouncing, like the OP has said.

I deleted, rebooted, reinstalled, and same problem. It bounces forever and won't start again. I looked for the preference files, but could not find them. I would have tried to delete them.

I was considering a lifetime license, but not if it won't run...

I am also experiencing the same problem- DVD fab just bounces, hits one cpu to 100% and then dies. (I killed the process when the indicator under the icon on the dock went out)

Hi there,
First make sure that internet is connected. Open Finder->Places->Applications, find DVDFab.app and move it to Trash. Then go to Finder->Places->Documents, delete "DVDFab" folder and intall DVDFab again. It will be OK.

I deleted the application and the DVDFab folder in documents. I installed the application and it still does the same thing. When trying to rip from a folder or a DVD/rw drive the program will not open the file.

I did what terry5 said and still the same issue. After re-installing it just bounces and will not open at all. So I am back on the previous preview edition but not going to purchase until that problem is fixed....

I have tried many times to get it to work but same issue as always. Even waited to see if a newer preview would fix it but nothing yet.

Hi there,
Please delete dvdfab.app and dvdfab folder as I told in #4, Empty Trash, reboot and then install the latest build.
