signals DVDFab's DVD Copy module will create the dvdid.xml file automatically, you must enable it in Settings->DVD Copy. If you are using other software you have asked the question on the wrong site.
Barry9196 I think the OP might mean that the xml file created by DVDFab does not work with with WMC. I know that is the case for me. I have to download the file from a different website because WMC will not read the ones created when I copy a movie to my hard drive.
damjr I did not buy DVD Copy and when I check the box on 'My Common Settings" to use Window Media Center it does not seem to work as I am using Ripper.
