When I am trying to rip to 50% SBS 3D (Mp4 with AAC 5.1) it rips fine, when I am trying to do the same thing but with full size SBS, the program just sits and does nothing..

I also note that when I use MKV, it also does not rip to Full size SBS. . I also tried straight audio copy (instead of AAC) and that does not work also. Still not working correctly. With 100% and 50% SBS MP4 Audio & Video passthrough, process fails after 15.3% with the below logs . Tried the following (Now with v9.01.8): Encoding method set at 2 pass and ripping bit rate set @ High quality Both at 50% and 100% SBS, it starts the process, FPS starts a 8 FPS and then counts down all the way to 0.1 FPS.. I cancelled at that point. When I disabled the Cuda Encoding, it appears to work OK both with 50% & 100% SBS. I tried many other combinations, but as soon as you select the 2 Pass ripping method, you have to disable CUDA encoding for it to work. On the other issue of not being able to rip at 100% SBS Using CUDA at 1 Pass ripping, that is now working.. I also note that the option to Display Only Forced Subtitles does not appear to work right. When I select it in the "Common Settings" dialog, it is not selected correctly in the configuration screen.

When ripping 100% SBS and Encoder set to 2 stage, ripping result does not produce 3d.. all other settings using 100% SBS, only work in the single stage encoding method.. and then it produces poor results that are not recognized as SBS by 3 different players. For the 100% to work at all, Cropping needs to be switched off. The software is absolutely not useable for 100% SBS

Or that the encode is wrong when it comes out such as 50% SBS or something like that?

Maybe there is something wrong with the way the movie/stream header is written to file. By disabling cropping all together it plays back correctly. and as said before 100% SBS just not working well at all for any sort of quality rip..

Is it the resolution being squished, or something else? I'm having issues with my full-SBS 3D movies as well, but I think the issue are my 3D players on my PC. My PC's video card supports 3840x2160 resolution, which is enough to handle both 3840x1080 full SBS and 1920x2160 full top/bottom 3D. However, whenever i Play the movie in a 3D movie player such as stereoscopic player or PowerDVD, it looks like it's in half-SBS, not full even though the resolution is full SBS. I believe that the player is squishing the resolution to 1920, but I could be wrong.

I have several other 100% SBS and those are working fine... By other issue is that I am trying to get the MP4 passthrough (Audio and Video) to work. (Create a 100% SBS uncompressed video) I can then use proper encoding software. DVDFab encoding does not support constant quality ripping and the 2 pass encoding is not working when Cuda is enabled.

I also agree with Ronvp that Constant Quality (CQ) should be implemented. It produces excellent quality a lot faster than 2-pass

Crop automatically is disabled in the conversion tab.

I have it on one-pass encoding with a custom bitrate of 20000. It will produce a huge file, but the quality is excellent without needing 2-pass.

I had those settings for Avatar 3D. The picture quality is excellent and the force subtitles worked to perfection. I only see the subtitles when they speak Navi. And there's no subtitle flickering.

Those force subtitles work in 3D viewing mode as well 2D viewing mode.
