DTS Audio

I have tried to rip 5 different movies that have DTS 5.1 audio using DVDFab 9.0.2.0 with the avi.h264.audiocopy profile. Each movie stop encoding at between 1.7% and 2.2%. (It rips the movie just fine if I don't select DTS 5.1)

I finally tried DVDfab 8.2.2.2 with the generic.avi.h264.audiocopy. Version 8 does just fine with the DTS audio.

I have tried mkv.h264.audiocopy and mp4.h264.audiocopy in version 9 with the same results.

I believe there is a problem with the version 9 ripper. Anyone else have this issue.

I am new to ripping but I think thats its happening to me to when I use mkv.h264.audiocopy I thought I was doing something wrong. I will see what happens when I use dvdfab 8.2.2.2 (if i get sometime to do it )

I checked mkv.h264.audiocopy to make sure the software works v 9.0.2.0 and it works ok here. I can't reproduce the issue. MediaInfo and screen shot attached:

I see you are using a Bluray. I'm using a DVD. That might make a difference.

I've attach the internal logs from my attempts. Both of the attempts use the same DVD and the same Profile avi.h264.audiocopy.

The first attempt selected the DTS audio and had to be cancelled.

The second attempt selected the DD 5.1 audio and complete successfully.

Any help or info would be appreciated.

DTD Audio Problem Solved

I don't know what you did but you fixed my DTS audio issue with Version 9.0.2.4 Beta. Using the avi.h264.audiocopy profile. I am now able to rip a movie with DTS audio and my A/V receiver decodes the DTS ES Discrete 6.1 audio.
