Sopranos, season 4 & 5

I was trying to rip my copy of the Sopranos, season 4 so that I could watch it on my iPad on an upcoming trip. It would never get through the scanning phase. (opening the DVD source) None of the 4 DVDâs would open. I couldnât make a backup of the DVDâs either. I also found the same issue with my copy of season 5. Any fix for this? I am running v9.0.4.7 The DVDâs would play on Windows Media Player.

Update to version 9051 and try again.
New: Added support to make Full Disc copy for a new copy protection as found on "Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor".
Maybe it has the same copy protection if it doesn't work post your internal log file for the movies it's not working on.
TIP-Always update your Fab program to the latest edition.

As glenns said, please post the internal log file from one of the failures. There will be a new release out possibly sometime today, please use that and post the log it generates.

Also, you can try going into DVDFab Settings and temporarily disabling PathPlayer. Be sure to turn it back on if it helps with these discs.

Are the disks readable

Since this quite an old release, I doubt it's some new copy protection that DVDfab hasn't seen before, have you checked that the disks are still playable.

And inspect the disks for scratches, fingerprints, etc and clean and polish them anyway.

9.0.5.2. is out with a lot of new fixes.
Fix: A crash problem when opening DVD source in certain cases.
Fix: A crash problem when opening Blu-ray source after has opened a DVD source.

I just wanted to follow up and thank all of you for your suggestion. I turned off Pathplayer and then DVD Ripper found the chapters just fine and ripped them successfully. Again, thanks for all of your suggestions. - Seventhgift :D
