Just what I've been looking for!
If the CRF standard is 0 to 51, with approximately 18 being idedticle to the input in quaility, why doesn't DVDFAB give us the same range of selection? I only see the ability to select between 15 and 28 and in varying steps.
Please don't think I'm complaining, I'm greatful for the feature and am trying it as I type this to see how it compares to the two pass method I've been doing. So far so good, AND QUICK!
I tested with a DVD movie running about 1H 38M. (Team America World Police)
CRF set at 23 was 940MB and was AMAZING!
CRF set to 25 was 531MB as was VERY GOOD.
CRF set to 28 was 394MB and was GOOD.
I know my results are subjective (except for the video size). This was viewed on my ASUS TF300 Tablet with MX Player running with video set to "fill the screen". A smaller screen would probably be very acceptable with CRF 28.
Very impressed! Thank you DVDFAB!:D
I believe CRF 25 will be my preferred setting.
