Hi guys, I'm trying to get CUDA to work with DVDFab v9.1.1.5 but it looks like my graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570) is not being detected. I'm using driver version 331.82 for the NVIDIA. Also tried to get CUDA working with some older versions of DVDFab and it looks like the latest to fully 'detect' my card is v8.2.2.9 Qt. Can someone help me to figure out how to get CUDA to work with v9.1.1.5 please? If you need more information please feel free to ask. Here's a screenshot:

Hi ,cptthumb I see the log you send, it's dvdfab_internal.log. There is a log named fabcheck_internal.log. Post it to me. Please post your logs the default location is: For DVDFab8_Win7 & Win8 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log For DVDFab9_Win7 & Win8 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab9\Log For Mac: /User/User name/Documents/DVDFab/Log Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, fabcheck_internal.log and post right here.

There is no such file called fabcheck_internal.log anywhere on my system.I checked the default log directory, as well as searched the file with windows search function..I suppose that is one indicator why it doesn't detect my graphics card. I've installed the trial version on a friends computer and his card is detected and has the logfile.

Take Fab off the computer clean the registry with the free version of cc cleaner then do it again so no files show in the registry cleaner.Re download Fab version 9 from front page then see the results.Get cc cleaner from the web make sure you get free version.

I launched DVDFab and checked the settings. Still no CUDA available. There is still no fabcheck_internal.log in the log directory. Any idea? This is odd but I ran into not being able to see my adapter until the drivers were loaded in another program. What display adapter is shown in "Device Manager"?

If you have an i7-3770K use Quick Sync, it's faster than your video card. You'll need to install VIRTU to make this happen.

Couple of quick questions.

1 - is your power supply powerful enough so that your system is not under powered?

2 - The GeForce GTX 570 is not in the Black slot, is it?
If so, then try moving it to the Blue slot. (the black slot is x4 mode where as the blue is x16)

3 - Are both the 6-pin power connectors connected to the video card?

The reasons I'm asking these questions is because these are the most basic and as such,
they tend to get over looked most of the time as they are the simplest of things.

Ok, the Cougar GX G800 in an 800 watt power supply.

How many drives in your system?

Hard drives, Optical drives, burners, Ect..

Then there is the processor, memory fans and what not.

I'd say you should at the very least have a 1000 watt PSU or more depending on what you
have in your system. Your video card alone requires at least a minimum spec 550 watt PSU.

This is why I mentioned powerful enough so your system is not under powered.

I've been doing this stuff for a long time and my first burner was a Yamaha SCSI burner back in 1994 which cost about $500 back then.

Before you start replacing parts I would do a new Windows install. It makes no sense that a hardware issue would effect DVDFab 9 and not 8.
I would backup your data if needed, re-install Windows formatting the system drive on installation, download the latest drivers for any hardware that needs it, then do the Windows updates. After that install DVDFab 9 and see what happens.
