I have only passkey (lifetime)... no dvdfab all in one...

I received my e-mail with activation key and then I promptly lost it when I had to reimage my drive without backing up the e-mail. Mona was kind enough to reissue the license and once again, the support team does excellent work.

Lifetime Key installed in older versions

I have a question about the lifetime promo:

I received the e-mail with the lifetime promo Key and installed it in my existing Passkey version 8.2.1.0 .

I checked my DVDFab Account screen and it's not indicating a lifetime expiration date.

Is it necessary to install the latest Passkey version in order to install the lifetime Key or can it be installed in an older Passkey version?

I'm not sure if the version matters, but it seems it should not. That is a really outdated version and there are many BDs and some DVDs that it will not open successfully, probably time for an update anyway.

I make serious replies for serious questions, whether you are a paying customer or not. This was a product promotion, everyone was eligible. Like when your grocery store runs a special of buy one get one free for a dozen eggs, they do not give money back to those the bought them the previous week, before the promotion.
