i would wait to see if this goes through, because these XL discs
aren't compatible with bluray players on the market right now.

I think you can assume that it would be considered if the format or one of the replacements for it become widely accepted for consumer use. Not the case right now from what I hear.

Just checking back in with the status on this. I really hope for an update on this, now that we have player and writers for cheap that support the capacity. Blu ray disc are nothing more then a grounds for high storage purposes. It would be nice if we have this feature to store multiple dvd sources to BDXL

Imgburn can already burn the BD XL disc's
Just make sure that you have a burner that can burn
The discs and a player that can play them.

No, DVDFab doesn't support to burn to 100GB blank media.
