Error while reading

I am trying to backup my Planet Earth DVD series but the disc will not load. I get an error message "Error while reading!".....

Any clues? The disc looks clean with no marks etc. I am running DVDFab in Parallels on an iMac.

Please post the dvdfab internal log files.
You might also try enabling /disabling pathplayer
In common settings restart dvdfab and try the disc again.

Try cleaning the disc with a soft cloth and Windex wiping from the center out toward the edge, just because the disc looks clean doesn't mean there is nothing on it.

PS: Where is the "pathplayer" toggle found?

Thanks CBR - I had already tried that (even though the DVD's are brand new). Still no luck :(

I had looked there but could not find any reference to pathplayer?

Click common settings - dvd - pathplayer Slect disable pathplayer
Restart dvdfab and retry the disc again.

Downloaded the Mac version and the disk loaded and read okay.
