Trying to rip the first disc of Game of Thrones season 5 containing episodes 1 and 2. After the disc has been analyzed I check the titles I want to rip and click start. After doing that it only takes a couple of seconds until I get the confirmation the process completed successfully but of course that is not true since the process only lasted for a couple of seconds. Looking in the output folder I have two files (one for each episode) but they are both 0 kB. Didn't have any problems with season 1-4 using version 10.0.1.7 or season 6 using version 10.0.2.0 where I'm now using version 10.0.2.2 so now I'm wondering if something changed in this version that could explain my issue? Or if there's something different with season 5 of Game of Thrones vs season 1-4 and 6? Logfile attached and thanks in advance for any help!

did you try clicking common settings - av codec - and set everything to softwarerestart dvdfab and try the discs again.

I just restored an old system image where I was using 10.0.1.9 and the problem is gone so clearly something changed in the latest version causing this behavior.Will try what you suggest though when I go back to the most current version when I'm done ripping and will report back.

So I'm now back using 10.0.2.2 and sure enough the problem is also back.I tried your tip by checking the 'Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding' which resulted in software rather than CUDA for all decoders and encoders listed.This did solve the problem but it also increased the ripping time with what seemed to be almost twice the time it takes vs using CUDA (which again is working just fine in previous versions) so whatever was changed in 10.0.2.2 stopping CUDA from working correctly I hope it can be fixed.

Hello,I've got exactly the same issue with the Game of Thrones season 5. All other seasons worked fine. Read a lot inside the whole forum, it's definitly the CUDA issue, after set everything to "software" it's working fine. Did a cross test with Casino Royal BluRay disc just to confirm (switched back to CUDA support, no files no ripping, in software mode it worked great).Current DVDfab ver: 10.0.2.2Current Nvidia driver: 378.66Will try the test version now and let you know...----------------------------------------------------------------Update:I'm sorry to tell you that i's not working with this version. Same behavior, with software it's working, with CUDA it's finishing within 10 seconds and no file is created. Found this in the log files:0m 10.25s: --- connect filter failed(module_hwvtranscode_cuda init_cuda_trans_failed) ---Hope that helps...if I can do more please let me know. I'm very interested in to resolve this issue. Btw, I tried two other Nvidia driver (376.33 & 378.49) none of them worked.

Same result here with the new version as posted above by trashino3000, no go with CUDA enabled but working fine with software.

DVD from the disc is around 300fps and 1200+ from the HDD. Much improved h.264 process.

Wilson:The MKV 3d 264 SBS profile set at fast, hi quality in settings, audio copy,remux sub titles,from cloned 3D iso to above MKV is not working well with this new fab or other versions after 10.02.2
10.02.2 gives me 100-110 FPS conversion speed from hard drive but this new version only 41-42 FPS much slower.Please check why this is happening windows 10 64 bit latest version with latest graphics driver GTX1060 3GB.

My results on 3D MKV from 3D iso are the same as 3dman7's 40fps maximum.

3d is broke but i tried out the regular 2k blu ray both 264 and 265 both speed demons God I went to the bathroom and a few mins. later I came back and the conversion a whole blu ray to mkv was done it's really fast from the hard drive.:cool:
I had to watch it to make sure it was all their and in sync all is well now to fix the 3d.:eek:

The dev is working on the 3D speed problem. It's the MVC decoder problem, not the CUDA.
