volume levels

Just curious, but is there a way to increase the volume level on a burned disc? I don't like having the tv volume really high.

Not within DVDFab's Copy module, sorry. DVDFab does not decode the streams to raw audio, so no way to vary it. DVD (or BD) Ripper, which does re-encode the audio does have a volume control.

If you were to use ripper on the disk then yes theirs a volume slider to increase the volume or lower it but not on the burnt disk itself.

Thanks! I guess I would have to purchase additional modules to do what I would like to do?

While there are programs that will allow you to do that, in reality you should not do that. Why? Because you could end up distorting the audio. You can pretty much count upon the recorded audio being within 6db of the max level. A 6db increase of the audio doesn't appear to be that much louder to the human ear. If you raise it 12db, you'll end up clipping all audio sections that are louder than 12db, which can cause horrible distortion.

You'd be better off getting an amp that can do dynamic range expansion, so that lower levels get boosted, while loud sections are left alone.

The Fab ripper makes the audio a lot louder without distortion using the audio slider.:)
If you can use a external speaker or speakers on the tv better yet.You can try the ripper free for 30 days to give it a try.You will have to redo the disks you already made or make new ones from the store brought disk.Also amplified speakers may be all you need if you have the inputs on the tv for them or a receiver connected to it.

Yes, you would need either to get new hardware (TV, Surround Sound amp, etc.) or software (Ripper module) to be able to manipulate the audio. The hardware would be more expensive but would have other benefits as well (bigger/better picture etc.). I suggest taking a disc that you have trouble hearing to a BestBuy or similar store and do some audition listening on the actual hardware you are considering. Tell them you are looking for something that has a feature that emphasizes the dialog or speech frequencies.
