I am having problems with iso playback. Both video and audio stutter in playback. I am playing from a local drive. I have tried connecting to network servers that I have and experience the same problem. My WD Live TV box plays the video just fine. I am disappointed. Please help.

If you are playing from the "SATA1" drive in the box itself, you should see no problems with the playback. I have 4 or 5 Blu-rays on the drive in mine that look fine on the attached TV. Are you using the HDMI output to connect to the display? Are you playing video files (MP4, MKV, etc.) or ISOs or folders of a disc?

Video Stuttring Playing from SATA1. HDMI thru DENON receiver. Tried network shares with exact same performance. WD Live box plays network shares just fine. I recopied a couple of movies. No change in performance. Playing DVD iso files. Copied entire disc in DVD5 format.

Video Stuttering Removed all configuration settings for automatic 3D playback. Video and audio stable now.

I only have full disks and it stutters all the movie!! Intern HD and NAS. Not on my Tronsmart player!!

Stutter Playing my 1st movie from DVDFAB movie server. It is full disk ISO made at DVD9. I am hooked up via HDMI. 3D is turned off in settings, it was on. I only saw one 3D setting. Sound gives a rasping sound occasionally. Last about 2 seconds. Video has the tiniest stutter, hardly noticeable, but there. The movie I'm testing with was sent to server via network. I'm going to physically attach the drive to my PC and copy it that way to see if anything changes.

Stutter issues Well I've tried copying movies over with the Movie Server disk attached to my PC. I've tried 3 different movies now and they all stutter video and audio at the same time. If the characters are speaking then you cannot understand them. I would say it last a second or two. Occurs about every minute. Please help. I'm hoping that it is nothing more than a setting somewhere.

Stuttering issue Continues I tried making a new ISO full disk as well as an ISO main movie, Same issue. Movie stutters and audio makes a rasping sound. Last for a second or so and actually happens every 30 seconds or so. Totally unwatchable at this time. Is there any kind of logs I can send in or a way to send my setups? Anything I can do to fix this please let me know. Thanks

A good test would be to see how the same ISOs play on your PC.

However, I found the wifi in movie server not work as it able to save the wifi password but unable to connect to my network. And I found the movie server will continually try to connect to the saved wifi which may cause the stuttering.
I turn off the wifi in movie server, then all movie play smoothly.
But the wifi not connecting issue still outstanding.

I am playing from internal HDD. I have not been able to connect to a network device. That's something I'm gonna try to accomplish after most of my other issues are resolved.
If you have a link to some instructions on how to connect to a PC running Win10 I would appreciate it as I have had no luck

After spending the entire weekend trying to solve my video stuttering and audio dropouts,I turned WiFi off like Pierre and Hunter1955 previously posted. That solved my issue. I had assumed that since I had connected the MediaServer via direct Ethernet, that WiFi was off. That is not the case. You must go into Settings--General--Advanced Settings--WiFi-- and click the button to switch WiFi off.

I have a WD Red 8TB HDD installed internally in the MediaServer, but cannot see it in DVDFab10 via the drop down menu to save Blu-Ray copies. My current workaround is to physically remove the HDD from the MediaServer and copy files to my Win10 PC via a docking station.

Sorry, I did not try to connect PC but only NAS. Maybe you use the folder property to share the folder which contains your movie files in your PC.

I had same issue with stuttering of sound and image when playing BluRay ISO files and mkv's. After the info from gpman about the wifi settings, I disabeled the wifi and the stuttering was gone. For me I would expect that when you have connected the server by using utp, it should not keep searching for wifi network, however end good all good. I was anyhow not wanting to use wifi while I don't like streaming big amount of data by wifi. Even tried to remove the antenna's from the back side of the box which didn't work so far.

Hi,

I get the stuttering audio and video when playing back the movie from NAS via 2.4g wi-fi, but it's played back well after switch to 5G Wi-Fi.

And the ethernet is used default if connecting with a cable and turn on wi-fi together.

I just wanted to pass on what worked for my issue of Stuttering Video accompanied with a Buzzing Noise in the Audio.... I tried all the suggestions mentioned here and nothing worked. Then I started looking around for a setting that may help and I came across a setting located at: SETTINGS - GENERAL - ADVANCED SETTINGS - BACKUP & RESET - FACTORY DATA RESET and it seem to fix my issue. I ignored the warnings that pop up. After rebooting, I played a movie on the internal and external hard drive and they both played error free...
