Please D/L Imgburn (a good tool to have for many reasons)... go to 'Tools' after it's installed, and click on 'Driver Load Order', and let us know what it finds. DC :cool:

You're also going to find a big problem trying to write a large ISO file to a FAT32 HD... 4 Gb is the largest you can write with the format. Your HD should be formatted to NTFS to accomodate the larger files.I also noticed that of a 500,000 Kb+ RAM, you've only got about 49,000 KB free... way too much running in the background to allow a video ripper to operate properly. You should really kill some of those items to free up more RAM.

AFS2K and PxHelp20 - please use Imgburn to remove these two, and try a rip again, and let us know if that makes a difference...Also, even though you don't normally copy to file, Fab will use your HD as a temporary storage area while it is working, and with ISO creation, the FAT32 could cause a problem...DC:cool:P.S. Although it's not on my list of problematic drivers, the GEARAspiWDM might be a culprit, also... if removal of the other two doesn't help, remove that one, too, and let us know if that changes your situation...

What is the current setting for pathplayer in Fab? Try re-setting it to the opposite (please don't use 'enable when necessary') and see if that helps... Also, when you installed Fab, did you do it as administrator? DC :cool:

In DVDFab Common Settings->Read, change the I/O control from Auto to either SPTI or ASPI, one or the other should work. Turn off the read ahead cache, you don't have enough free memory for it to be effective anyway. Make sure you don't have a process running that has hooks into the optical drives. Get more RAM.

@Darthcopier, I've changed the pathplayer settings - still no different @ signals , Neither of the I/O control settings make a difference. I've turned off the read ahead - I agree it wouldn't be using it too much But still no luck - What else?
