@LEXXE As far as I know, CUDA is only used when compressing a movie (e.g. BD50>BD25), so if you are simply making a backup that does not require compression or re-encoding, it is likely that CUDA will not be used. At least this has been my experience. As far as the copy speed, a lot has to do with the speed that DVDFab is able to read from that particular BD disc /drive combo and that typically will be the "bottle-neck" since DVDFab cannot copy/re-encode any faster than its able to fill up its buffer. You can check this by making a PISO copy to your HDD, then use the PISO to make a copy. Since HDD I/O speed is much faster than a BD Disc/Drive combo, you should see a substantially faster copy speed then using BD disc/drive. That said, using BD disc and drive to make copies will have some physical limitations that DVDFab cannot overcome. You should also note that every disc will have a different speed, depending on how the original disc was authored and manufactured.
So even if your BD drive is capable of reading, say, 55 MB/s, the actual read speed can (and usually will) be lower based on authoring/manufacturing. In the many backups I have made, I have never had a disc reach the BD drives max read capability. Some older discs I have, have a very low speed, reaching maybe only 15 MB/s, or even less.
