Subtitle positions

I am converting some files to H265 mkv, some of them have subtitles that I am setting to direct render. After they have been converted the text has moved to the bottom of the screen rather than the original position, am I missing a setting somewhere?

Happens to me all the time as well. Have to move subtitles up every time. They look okay in the beginning when previewing it but after converting it into blu-ray or something the subtitles are half of the screen and the position sometimes varies within the same movie
