VVC alias H.266 in DVDfab ?

I would like to know when you implant the H.266 codec to DVDfab ?

It was only approved on 6 July, so be patient. I am certain it will be added asap, but may not be be supported by the GPU partner sdks immediately.

when you can get easy 30%-40% file reduction then I can use CPU for few movies until NVIDEA get a new chipset out. But I will be exited and wait :-)

It is because news, The final standard was approved July 6th, 2020.
harware/software decode / encode is still in research stage.
soft h265 still slow on current new pc i7 10th, VVC should be far from real use in customer PC.

h266 is still in the early stage, https://github.com/fraunhoferhhi/vvenc
mp4 / mkv format has not defined how to support yet.
Correct me if you find something new.

there are already implementations for 8K TV support, and the Hardware implemantation started last year, and sind february this year them started to sell license for it. Thanks for the information, but its DVT’s chipset for decoding, for playback. Not for producing VVC video, Not for PC.
