Grainy results

Hello all. Sorry if this has been answered before, but as there are so many threads, I couldnt find the direction I seem to need. Anyway, I had the full DVDfab software that should deal with everything. I am trying to copy or rip my blu-ray movies to my pc hard drive for playing later. However, every setting I have tried produces a grainy result. I have the Nvidia card so Im absolutely positive the pc specs are high enough, but Im at a loss of what to try next. I've tried movie copy mode, I've tried the AI mode, and I've tried the blu-ray rip mode. Everything is grainy, including the AI mode so I wont be wasting 17 hours on each movie. Can someone advise exactly, step by step, what settings I should be using so the blu-ray rips or copies do not come out grainy?? (and yes) I've read the tutorials, therefore now I ask fellow users for help. Im not a techie, so please give detailed step by steps so I can see what Im missing. Thanks in advance.

If you have the output size set so that there is no compression, ( output size=input size) DVDFab will not make any changes to the video from the original disc. What are you using to play these files on your pc?

I have Kodi and PowerDVD for playback. And so far, Im only trying to copy/rip blu-rays which play crisp from disc but the copy is grainy on playback. I will work on getting a log session, thank you.

Sorry again, but I went to this link, but when you say, "Scroll through (newest entries are last for the internal log, near the end) and find the log session that illustrates your problem. , I have no idea what I am looking for. Here is what I see, and again, I am not a techie so I need detailed step by step directions. In the long run, I just need to know what to set the software settings for in order to get a non-grainy copy of a blu-ray movie. Once I know the settings or steps, I wont be adjusting them. Thanks.

The logs are in (My) Documents\DVDFab11\Logs.

Each DVDFAB session appends a new log to the end of the dvdfab_internal.log file. Each one has a time and date stamp at the beginning, so you should be able to find it from that. You can open read and edit the log file with Notepad. The capture you posted above was the wrong folder and I have removed it.

I will repeat, set DVDFab for no compression (BD50 size in most cases) and the video from the original disc will be UNCHANGED in the DVDFab output. Supply the log if you need more help. Use PowerDVD for testing.
