Missing title in Bluray

I'm trying to rip my Aliens Blu-ray from the Alien Quadrilogy set. After the disc scans, it brings up title 801 which is the extended version, but title 800 is missing, which is the theatrical version.

I know it's on the disc as I looked using the blu-ray program on my pc and I can watch it on a standard player as well, but DVDFab isn't seeing it. I also tried on DVDFab 11 (using 11 and 12) and isn'tseen there either. Any idea what could be causing this?

Click the button that says Choose other Title, you should be able to find it there.

Yes, I did that, as I've ripped both titles from Alien, Alien3 and Alien: Resurrection with no issues, it's just Aliens that's giving me a problem, I even made a 1:1 clone and it's still not there, and when I play the clone with the Blu-ray software, it's not there, but on the original, it is.

As you can see in the pics, it is missing from DVDFab (it should be directly under 801, as it's slightly shorter in length)

I understand the problem and am trying to find that same set which I believe I have to try and reproduce the problem. Are they region-free discs? It would be helpful if you could supply the DVDFab internal log session from AlienS so that I can verify the disc ID.

I can't recall if they're region free or not. I bought the set from a local Best Buy, so maybe not, but oddly enough, I took the disc to a friend's house, who has DVDFab 9, and it was recognized properly.

Thanks for the feedback. The older versions use different structure analysis techniques. For most titles you are better off using the current version. Still looking for my copies.

Please copy the disc volume EXCEPT those .m2ts files under \...BDMV\Stream, zip it and upload it to our FTP site. Thank you.
