Would really like to have the option to write all the thumbnail files to the same alt temp/cache folder, such as Z:/SFAB/picture/ – and not C:/user/appdata/Roaming/StreamFab/StreamFab/localdata/picture/providername
Save some write cycles on my boot SSD. Target drive for downloads and temp/cache files is enterprise HDD.

Suggestions

When queuing a Netflix download, if my normal video options (x265 HDR10) is not available, instead of letting me queue up something that’s just going to Error Code 210, warn/auto-select the next best option (so x264 High)
Ability to drag-n-drop to reorder the Download Queue
Ability to add more to queue while a service is downloading
Ability to pause after current download completes (so I can queue more)

I only bought StreamFab when it was v5.x.x.x but it’s ALWAYS had that feature. I would actually prefer to have up and down arrows in addition to drag-n-drop to move things around. Something like this:

Hey, I noticed that some Hulu titles with 2.0 AAC have two audio tracks: HE-AAC 64 and AAC-LC 125. Both tracks are available, but StreamFab only downloads the AAC-LC 125 when both are present. Is there a way to have it grab both options? This would be helpful so I can maintain consistent audio quality and avoid dropping from higher to lower quality. Thanks!

Would it be possible to release a U module for U.co.uk? I know that videos on U can be downloaded using the DRM downloader, but each video needs to be loaded individually which is very time consuming, whereas if there was a specific U module we would have the option to load entire series for download with just a couple of clicks. For example there is a series on U that has more than 2000 episodes - if we had a U module we could download up to 100 episodes per day with just a couple of clicks which would be a game changer.

I can understand your wish - but please note:

SF shouldn’t add every page as a VIP module,
otherwise there would be hundreds
and nobody could test them all and ensure
that they all work at the same time.

so the problem with the subtitles still exists. I still have to remux every file to change the subtiles name to forced / CC or normal. they work but without trying I don’t know which subtitle is the correct one. I thought it would only be HBO MAX but it is also Paramount that I just tested. I mentioned this 3 times for about 3 weeks now…
what I analyze: German forced, German, English CC, English

What I get: 2x German, 2x English

What it should like (I have to remux every file…)

I’m writing to request support for additional video and audio codecs in your Crunchyroll downloader.

Specifically, it would be great to have:

Video: H.264 (AVC) and H.265 (HEVC)

Audio: EAC3 5.1, and AAC 2.0.

H.265 (HEVC) support would make a significant difference for me.

I’d like movies anywhere 4K support. Movies Anywhere movies can be downloaded in SD on chrome with the mpd module but 4K support would be nice. There is a m3u8 manifest that can be used download the 4K file over HLS. Is the possible for the future?

Definitely +1 on that request, much better bitrate on 4k compared to fandango and best quality overall streaming wise even better than Apple with less filtering of content. Other ways of getting it (of course if you know what you are doing) but streamfab would make it much easier overall.

If you are referring to my comment of other ways of getting it, I didn’t say everywhere, I just said there are ways of getting it but you need to know what you are doing, it’s difficult, of course, nothing about any commercial software been able to do it. Would be nice if the devs could work out a way for streamfab to do it to make it accessible to everyone without jumping through hoops.

Add the ability to download multiple Audio Codecs and mux them into the same MKV. Specifically, I would like to have an AAC Stereo also downloaded for every Atmos language (if available). That way when I play the resulting file on an inferior system, it will be able to stream the stereo track without reencoding.

Add the ability to go back to every file I’ve ever downloaded and fetch the AAC Stereo tracks… because I didn’t think of this sooner 🙂
