Upconverting my 1080p blu-ray disc movies to UHD using the blu-ray à UHD editing tool. I have 2 GPU’s on my computer:
Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620
NVIDIA GeForce MX150
When I try to select CUDA on the A/V codec menu for the Video Encoder for H.264 or H.265 I get a pop-up message “H.264 or H.265 encoder cannot be supported by your graphics card” and the selection reverts to “software” I can select CUDA for the video decoder with the software selections for the Video Encoder and when I start the conversion it I get the display message “CUDA GPU video decoding enabled”. The blu-ray à UHD editing tool will appear to be converting and will display upon completion that successful conversion” but the “converted” movie won’t play.
I can select the “disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding” checkbox on the A/V codec menu and the movie will convert but it take too long to make this selection viable.
I do have another older compute that does have an Inter Quick Sync GPU that I can select on the A/V codec menu for the Video Encoder that does encode and convert the blu-ray à UHD.
Are there settings in DVDFab 12.0.2.0 I can select to use my Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 or NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPUs for converting my movies?
Have also included the internal log.
