Aside from the quality problems that you'll see with a brand like Ridata, your other big problem is trying to use -R format for a Dual Layer burn.
For all intents and purposes, DL -R format cannot do video burns. Only use DL +R format, as the layer break on +R is software set-able.
As has been echoed here many times in many different threads, Verbatim DL +R (Singapore made, by choice) is the ONLY brand to use for DL burns.
