expected string or bytes like object error

i get this error every attempt to download from youtube on mac. i also had the weirdest update where it kept refusing to open then it did and opened my thermal and something started typing. i shut it down thinking i triggered a virus or something. after reboot it starts (delays or refuses too sometimes still) then still any attempt to download anything from youtube gets this error.

We could not duplicate the problem.
Please remove StreamFab, delete the related files that are under Documents, and then install it to try again.
If still have a problem, take a screenshot of the error message you have received and provide the log files, we will see if we can find anything there. Thanks.

Have now same Problem since StreamFab v6.0.0.0. Now after update to StreamFab v6.0.0.1 Problem not fixed.
All Videos after error have same Thumbnail and Name.
Log and Screenshot is send to your PM.
