I was able to link my cable provider to download shows not its just stuck on adobe pass.

When it shows like this, the site may be not supported. Which version did you use and get access to it? Please provide a log file too, thanks.

As october262 says, open the website in the home page. For CNN Go, they give you 8 minutes of preview before you have to log in. That is enough time to download several shows. Might work for other sites, too.

The site i was trying to see if i could download from was "Watch TCM" (try googling that phrase). When you click on a movie, the login page pops up before SF has access to the link. if you try to login (by picking a cable provider), it stops at the adobe-pass page and wont go on to the cable link to actually login, just stop at the adobe-pass page. was hoping somebody had a workaround for it. they have great movies. thanks for you help

thanks for the suggestion but even after logging into my cable company under streamfab, when i click on a video for TCM, it still brings up the "select cable company" and then the "adobe pass" screens. doesn't seem like a big deal to allow the adobe-pass screen to work in SF but maybe someday. thanks again

@jimc115 if you go to Telemundo site and choose a video that doesn't require a cable provider login you can download the video @ 1080p. Usually the older videos are free. The latest videos will require a cable subscription. The way you are doing it is not from the website itself. Try it like i just said and you will see a different result.

OK...

Make sure you are using the latest version of SF. on the home tab...go to www.syfy.com and try watching a show that needs you to choose your provider.....choose it.
Now...click the first tab again and enter nbc.com/shows

You should be automatically logged on to nbc with your cable company.

Telemundo would only allow 960x540 for that show....maybe because it's new. Picking an older episode allowed 1080p.
I tried a movie on Syfy and a series on NBC and both allowed 1080p.

any update on this. To link provider now just opens multiple tabs and they just spin. I would like to unlock my episode. It works in all browsers not StreamFab.

Can we please get a feature where Streamfab uses the cookies from a specified browser? It's a hugely useful feature that i use all the time with yt-dlp and gallery-dl. Whenever i haven't been able to manually login or retrieve the correct cookie witg Get Cookies.txt extension, the --cookies-from-browser chrome argument has always worked. Especially when captcha or redirects are involved.

Is there any news on this. There is a new show called La Reina de Sul that I would love to download but you software wont let me login with my cable provider. It just opens multiple windows and just spins. Please look into this. This used to work now it does not.

Season 3 of La Reina del Sur is available on NBC.com. I just tried downloading episode 1 with yt-dlp and it worked. It has no DRM. So just use yt-dlp with the --cookies-from-browser chrome argument after you link your cable provider in Chrome

I have unistalled the software and reinstalled it and still the same thing. I now believe it may have something to do with the xfinity cable login. I don't have another cable provider to try,
