I've been using one version or another of blu-ray ripper for many years, but this is the first time installed on a windows 10 machine.I selected 5 titles from the Stargate SG-1 BD's I just got and it's been on 0% for 23 minutes.Any thoughts?aaaaand, failed after 31 minutesThe logs should be fresh. But when I changed back to General>(custom)MP4, it went back to not progressing at all.Changes to the default MP4 profile: High Quality Encoding (2 Pass), maximum bits/pixel, audio bitrate 512kbps, 200% volume. The same custom settings I have used for over a year without issue.

have you tried with the AV codecs disabled ??october262I have never had those disabled AFAIK, but currently they are all currently set to CUDA. I have checked the "Disable all GPU codecs for decoding & encoding" and it is finally progressing using the Custom (MP4) profile.I'll let you know the results after it finishes.

What would you need to see regarding the resource hogging when using Intel Quick Sync? A specific log from one of those rips?

The developer said that the Nvidia M150 is special for notebooks and it doesn't support to use in this case, he suggested that you use Intel.
As for the "CoreAVC cannot be detected" issue, I am afraid that there is no plan to solve it at the moment.

CUDA is automatically trying to use the NVIDIA chip?

Any suggestions on getting the resource usage under control when using Intel QS. It runs up to 100% on both CPU and GPU a lot of the time during a rip and bogs literally everything down.

This was not the case with my previous, older laptop.

You may just ignore the MPEG-2, it doesn't use that much now, h264 is used more frequently.

Yeah, I use MPEG-2 occasionally in PowerDirector for certain exports, but not much.

So back to the larger issue. How to get DVDFab to stop sucking up all the resources of my computer. Maybe they need to let us assign RAM to the process, to take the load off of the CPU & GPU (PhotoShop allows this). I have more than enough RAM.
