RTX 4090 H265 and AV1 encoding results

My MSI RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X gets delivered on the 19th (Tuesday). I am modifing it and swapping the 2 stock fans with EK Vardar fans and adding a second pair of Vardar fans for push/pull config.

Creating this thread to keep everyone updated on the uplift for H265 encoding over my RTX 3090 FE card (nvidia driver - 517.48).

But for comparison sake the 3090 results:

1080p H265 Bluray encoding (dvdfab version 12.0.8.9): 400-410fps - hits as high as 413-416fps just before the 50% mark for the 2nd pass
High Quality 2 pass video, B-frames enabled, audio quality copied

2160p H265 UHD Bluray encoding (dvdfab version 12.0.8.9): 110-114fps
same exact settings as 1080p bluray encoding... but in 2160p of course with a UHD movie title

Same exact everything in settings, program, literally everything is identical. including the movie disc images

1080p H265 Bluray encoding: 574fps right around the 50% mark... uplift of about 170fps over the 3090FE

2160p H265 UHD Bluray encoding: 110fps... no uplift over the 3090FE

very happy with those 1080p results, I can live with the no uplift in 4k encodes

Now all DVDFab has to do is add AV1 encoding capabilities. when they do I'll add the results here

Correction, I updated dvdfab to 12.0.9.0. The H265 UHD encoding is running at 155fps at around the 50% mark.
