Any reason why you don't do HDR? Even if your TV doesn't support HDR, all modern players do tone mapping and can play HDR content on SDR hardware...

May i ask what you use to play the files?

In any case, here is a . Obviously, the ones that don't say HDR are SDR.

Thanks for the list. This will make things a lot easier. It isn't that I don't want or can't use the HDR, it is that I hadn't found anything that was H.265 (HDR or otherwise) that wasn't a Netflix original. This list is mostly made up of Netflix originals but there are a few regular films on it that I'm checking out. Some of them don't seem to be available in my area but some are. Still, regardless of having my settings as HDR or SDR, I'm getting H.264. For example, RRR is stated as SDR but regardless of my settings, I'm getting H.264. Are they only H.265 in certain regions?

Update: Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon... a Netflix original, on the H.265 list is only H.264.

I have noticed that you need to have the 4K plan to get some of them to download h265, even if you're not watching or downloading 4K. That is a restriction on the provider, not the software.

I double checked, I do have the Ultra HD (4K) subscription. Could it just be location thing?
