I am experiencing this same issue with Netflix downloads. Just started. The download report states:
"Videos on the streaming service offer better quality than your presets, StreamFab had downloaded the better version for you."
Like the original poster my preset is configured for EAC3. This is happening to all my downloads from Netflix at the moment. Thanks!

Gaah, what a pain!
However, I'm not sure it's exactly the same issue. The streaming quality of the series offered in Hulu does match my presets - and I know that because I can check by using the competition to see if the episodes are available in EAC3. And like Netflix's "Arnold," they are - but SF unfortunately can't deliver.
That SF had a selection between EAC3 or AAC in the series' download menu indicates to me that SF actually can and did detect that availability, but the result is that either
1) only the first episode will download in EAC3, while the rest just download in AAC,
without the notifiction you've shown
or
2)
all episodes of the series download in AAC - again,
without the notification you got.
So unlike your issue, SF
isn't detecting any incompatibility between my EAC3 presets and what it's actually downloading in AAC.
I have been able to DL some movies in 1080p/EAC3, so it's not entirely an across-the-board issue, but they're very few - you didn't mention if you tried to DL anything outside of a series on Netflix.
I'd actually start a new thread specific to Netflix about your issue, to ensure that Mona and the developers see that "hey, we're really giving you great quality here!" report it generates! There may be others using Netflix who have this same issue and are looking for it, but they might not see your post as this thread is specific to Hulu.
