i was using it, and all the sudden for the last hour I get this

i did a new install, and no difference.

.. but Online-Update looks like currently broken

yeah, i downloaded the offline 6.1.5.6 but can't seem to bypass the updater.. maybe i can rename it.. cause i cant get into the program at all now
edit: renaming the updater doesnt work either.

there seems to be no way to bypass this at all.. checked the ini, and there seems to be no option to disable the update check.

so the updater still shows up even thought you updated via the offline installer ??

That works for me the last two month...

Disable the Autostart in Task-Manager and kill the process before renaming

or use a tool like this here

i deleted the updater tool from the folder, and can't get it to start.
it just hangs.

idk. did a clean install.

it just doesn't work.. gave up for now.. guess i need to do something else.

tried to upload a screenshot, but guess I don't have enough Kb for the forum to upload.. which is odd.. only 144 Kb left from the 5 Mb.

well, installed it on a VM, and it works there, but not on my normal laptop.

uninstalled it, removed all the folders in program files, appdata\roaming
some registry settings

is there more to it ?

this is becoming frustrating..

almost looks like my account is locked or something..

Forget StreamUpdate, it has nothing to do with your problem.

I never seen "error curl post" in my logs ..
.. so I think it's a network problem

figured it out.
somehow there were weird entries in my host file from early this morning,(according to the timestamp) which makes no sense.. since i was using it all day, and it failed this evening.
removed all the entries, and now it's fine.
